Project Year: 2026
This project shows how an everyday observation of rain collecting on a window screen can become a plotted drawing. Shapes from a photograph are traced and smoothed into curves, connecting a physical pattern to editable digital geometry. Students can use this approach to explore how tracing, simplification and smoothing change an image, then compare how those choices appear when drawn with a pen.
