Project Year: 2026
This project shows how closely spaced curves can create optical effects through repetition and changes in line direction. Students can explore how line spacing, curvature and pen thickness affect the appearance of a plotted pattern. The close-up view also draws attention to the machine’s movement, encouraging students to consider both the finished drawing and how the image develops during plotting.
