This project demonstrates an automatic pen-changing mechanism and how alignment errors cause shifting marks in the physical drawing. If each pen tip sits in a slightly different position after a change, lines intended to align will appear offset. Students can examine how the mechanism holds and positions each pen, and why consistent placement and calibration are essential for accurate drawings with multiple pens.
